Where do you hold trauma?

I’m alive today because I wrote through my pain. Trauma needs an outlet or it gets stored up in your body. For years I held my trauma in my throat. I couldn’t talk about my pain. Writing about how I felt helped me detach from the trauma in a healthy way. Even if you can only get a few words out, let them out. Today’s full moon is all about RELEASE. You can’t release what you don’t first acknowledge.
